Commercial drone filming in Hunslet, Leeds
PG Aerial Media filmed the Nostrop Storage Ltd site in Hunslet, Leeds as part of a prospective commercial contract. The shoot focused on truck units parked within the yard, together with overhead footage and still photography showing the site and its surrounding locality.
The elevated viewpoint made it possible to show the arrangement of vehicles and the wider yard in a way that ground-level photography cannot easily achieve. Combining moving footage with still images also provides flexible material that can be used to present a commercial site clearly to customers, contractors or other business audiences.
What was captured
- Aerial footage of truck units parked within the yard
- Overhead views of the commercial site
- Still photographs of the yard and surrounding locality
- Wide establishing views to show the site's position and scale
Drone photography and video across Leeds
This project demonstrates how aerial photography and video can give businesses a clear overview of yards, depots, storage facilities, commercial property and operational sites. PG Aerial Media provides suitable commercial drone work across Leeds, West Yorkshire and throughout mainland UK.
Commercial aerial media for sites like Nostrop Storage
The Nostrop Storage project demonstrates how drone photography and video can present a working commercial site from a viewpoint that is difficult to achieve at ground level. For storage yards, transport premises, industrial units and similar businesses, an elevated view can show the relationship between vehicles, buildings, access routes and available space in a single clear image.
For this Hunslet shoot, the aim was not simply to create attractive aerial footage. The imagery also needed to communicate the scale and layout of the site. Wide establishing shots provided context, while closer aerial views gave a clearer look at the truck units and operational area. A combination of still photographs and video clips gives a business more flexibility when choosing material for websites, presentations, social media or discussions with prospective customers.
Drone coverage for Leeds commercial locations
PG Aerial Media can consider similar projects in Hunslet and across Leeds, including Holbeck, Beeston, Morley, Rothwell, Garforth and surrounding areas. Suitable work may include transport yards, storage facilities, industrial premises, construction locations and business sites where an overhead perspective helps explain the property or operation.
Each commercial flight is planned around the individual site. Factors such as airspace, neighbouring property, roads, people, vehicle movements, weather and the required shots are considered before flying. This is particularly important on active commercial premises, where useful imagery must be captured without compromising safe operation.
Finished media can be tailored to the intended use. A client may need high-resolution photographs for a website, short video sequences for promotional content, wider site views for records, or a mixture of formats. Planning the shoot around those requirements helps ensure the final material has a clear business purpose rather than simply providing generic aerial footage.
